Some Frequently Asked Questions about this site in no particular order.

Q. What software is used to make this site?
A. I use notepad and code the HTML manually.

Q. How do you make those great wallpapers?
A. With Photo Express 2 and sometimes touched up with Paint Shop Pro 7.

Q. Where are all your Video Clips?
A. Video Clips take up a lot of space and bandwidth but I will gradually add them and see how things pan out. Same goes for Audio Clips, I would rather not have them than have my site going off everyday because of bandwidth limits. But things are underway.

Q. Where else could I download some good Bruce Lee clips?
A. Well not to have an ego or anything but I don't know of anywhere simply because every other site I know of hasn't been updated since 1997 and what other sites exist are all crap and very badly made. Sad but true.

Q. Will you make me a website?
A. Nope, sorry I don't have the time and the fun is in the making, nobody has a great site first just look at the early versions of his site to see that. Start small and basic then build it up yourself it's much more fun.

Q. Where can I email you?
A. I can no longer be reached via email because I was getting too many and it was annoying, instead leave me a message on the forum and I'll post back there to you.

Q. I'd like to write reviews to contribute towards this site, is this possible?
A. Yes, very much so. Again leave your name and email in the book and I'll get back to you. I'm always open to good reliable contributers here.

Q. I've spotted a mistake on your site or a broken file, what shall I do?
A. Post it in the forum and I'll fix it asap.

Q. I have my own site but can I use some of your pics at all?
A. Yes, providing you save them and upload them to your own webspace, don't just link to them from here.

Q. Why do all of the pics have your site name on them?
A. Because I don't want people linking to them and stealing my bandwidth.

Q. Can I use any text like reviews from here?
A. No you can't, write your own. It's your site not mine. Where's the originality in using someone else's work?

Q. Where can I buy a Game of Death suit?
A. Why would you want one lol, but there's always one on Ebay so try there.

Q. Would you like to trade any rare footage?
A. I don't have any, the few bits I have like Longstreet, Here comes the brides etc are easily available. But I'm too busy these days to be selling and trading any Bruce Lee items. Again Ebay is your best bet to pick up some rare stuff.

Q. Why isn't there a good Jeet Kune Do section on this site?
A. Because Jeet Kune Do doesn't exist so I can't write about it. Bruce wasn't trying to be like water itself, let me try and explain. The philosophy is put water into a cup it becomes the cup, put water into a teapot it becomes the teapot. It wouldn't make a difference what you you put into them whether it's water, tea, coffee, lemonade, nats piss or whatever. The point is the liquid and the solid both become as ONE. They are no longer two seperate things. Basically Lee was saying to be a good martial artist you must become one with the martial arts, you don't think martial arts you ARE the martial arts. You flow naturally like water now this doesn't mean to the movement of water it means flow like the formlessness of the water, it has no shape or style because it is formless. Like a martial artist should be. The water is there instantly like your movements with any shape, it doesnt think. You learn the martial art and you become it, acting purely out of natural reaction. This is exactly what he's saying to the abbot in ETD when he says, I do not hit, IT hits all by itself. The IT is the product of the liquid and the solid as one. Lee IS the martial art itself. This is what Jeet Kune Do was all about. The IT is a natural reaction like walking into a dark room and turning on the light switch, you don't turn it on IT turns it on. Your mind and body are as one. It's nothing to do with water itself it's about becoming ONE with something. It is probably the greatest philosophy that Lee ever created because it applies to everything not just martial arts. A master of a musical instrument is ONE with his instrument, he picks it up and plays it he no longer has to think about how to do it. Like Lee, he wanted to be like that with his martial arts. This is what he was getting at. Not many people properly understand it at first because Lee was just so damn far ahead of his time. Lee regretted the day he thought of the name Jeet Kune Do, knowing it would create another style which is what he was trying to be free from and he shut down all of the JKD schools and planned to use Game of Death to re-educate the misguided people but he died too soon. Now most people don't understand the original concept and use JKD as a style and a cash in. Don't be fooled my friends.

Q. Where's the Bruce Lee workouts, I want a body like his?
A. Lee altered his training routines daily and very quickly so to give you a workout routine to follow would be pointless and misguiding. If you want to study the various workouts then buy a book called The art of expressing the human body. But don't use it as a manual, John Little wrote the book like it was the ultimate way to have a body like Bruce's, this isn't true it's merely a collection of Bruce's workout notes.

Q. Will you link my site and vice versa?
A. Give me 5 reasons why I should and I might consider it.

Q. I've downloaded the scanned articles, how do I open them?
A. You need to unzip the zip files with winzip, download it from the useful links menu at the bottom of the list. Then unzip the files to get the articles.

I'm sure there's lots more questions to be asked, so ask them in the forum and I'll add the most frequent ones here.
